Measure your Social Media progress!
I constantly come across people who are frustrated with their Social Media because they feel that they know enough to get by but they absolutely know that they could do so much better. The frustration comes from not really knowing exactly how to measure what they are doing and consequently not knowing what to do to improve.
So, taking the time to invest in some knowledge is a powerful idea with Social Media but there is not a great deal of advice out there on how to benchmark where you are and show you what you need to know to improve.
I’ve been running Platform Social for long enough now to know that it always helps if you get clear on where you are now and if you can identify what you need to do to get to the next stage, it’s a bit like trying to find a destination without a map or a sat nav. Just guessing is not going to get you there super quick.
So I put together my own ‘measuring instrument’ for all of you who use Social Media to help you discover your own route to your Social goals as quickly and efficiently as possible. I called it 5 Stages of Social Media to keep it simple and so far, everyone who has seen it has agreed that it has been really helpful to measure current Social activity and then pinpoint what is needed to get to the next level.
If any of this resonates with you then take the first step and cultivate some knowledge by downloading my 5 Stages of Social Media, which will help you discover where you are and show you how to take your Social activity to the next level.
There is huge value in identifying where you are, this knowledge will give you..
- Some positive feedback as you will of course, be doing lots of things well
- Re-assurance that you are not alone and there are other businesses in a similar position
- The beginnings of a plan so you can start to action the things you need to do to take your Socail activity to the next level
- Foucs on what you need to do next
- Encouragement and the processes to help you move forward
